Build a kingdom you understand

This player database explains the systems that turn a small medieval camp into a working kingdom. Start with Food, Wood, Stone, and Gold, then follow how workers, buildings, research, policies, trade, magic, and defense affect one another.

How Hearth and Hamlet progression connects

The game is incremental, but it is not passive in the sense of making every decision for you. Manual gathering opens the first jobs. Workers automate production. Buildings increase capacity and unlock new functions. Research creates permanent options, while policies, trade, magic, and defense change which resources and workers matter next.

A useful Wiki entry must therefore answer more than “what does this cost?” It should also explain what the system unlocks, what it competes with, when it becomes useful, and which game version the information applies to.

For a practical route through those decisions, begin with the Beginner Guide and move to the First-Hour Progression Guide.
