Current scope
There is no official full-release known-issues list yet because the game launches August 19. The entries below summarize problems reported during the Demo period and the changes documented for v1.0.46. They should not be read as proof that the release build has the same bugs.
Demo issues reported by players
- A black screen or crash during startup on some Windows systems.
- The game stopping at the loading screen or becoming unresponsive.
- Temporary freezes during play.
- Periodic crashes on some Steam Deck configurations.
- Interface elements that were too small or poorly fitted before the June scaling update.
- Older Demo saves failing after the v1.0.46 backend changes.
The old-save incompatibility is confirmed in official patch notes. Other items are community-reported symptoms with different hardware and software causes; they are not universal defects.
What v1.0.46 addressed
The June build added under-the-hood stability work, multiple renderer launch choices, automatic and manual UI scaling, revised resolution handling, and 4K readability adjustments. It also changed combat, workers, research, content, and backend systems, so reports from the April build may no longer reproduce.
Before reporting a problem
Record the Demo or release version, operating system, CPU and GPU, selected renderer, resolution, UI scale, and what happened immediately before the failure. A screenshot or crash log is more useful than “it does not work.” Avoid reusing old saves when the patch notes explicitly say they are incompatible.
